About the Author
Michael P. Tomaro Ph.D. has nearly four decades of experience as both a clinical psychologist and a pilot.
As a clinical psychologist, he is a charter member of the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology and a certified member of the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis.
As a pilot, Dr. Tomaro holds a commercial license with an instrument rating in both single and multi-engine aircraft. He holds both primary and instrument flight instructor ratings, and is a 20+ year member of the National Association of Flight Instructors.
Dr. Tomaro has worked extensively with fearful flyers for more than 25 years. He has published a complete video seminar for fearful flyers based on his work at General Mitchell International Airport from 1988 to the present.
